Ken is a transactional lawyer and business executive with thirty-five plus years experience in the Franchise, Restaurant and Personal Services industries. He has extensive experience in Operational Legal Support, Franchising/Licensing, Transaction Management, Domestic and International Expansion, Risk Management, Strategic Planning, and M&A Transactions. From 2006 to 2014 he was General Counsel, Secretary and a member of the Board of Directors of Fantastic Sams International and its parent, Dessange Group North America. Prior to that Ken served as Assistant General Counsel of AFC Enterprises, Inc., and was also General Counsel, Director and a founding shareholder of Restaurant Systems International Inc. He currently heads Kaplan Franchise Group, a consulting company offering strategic business and finance services to the franchise industry.
